Saints Could Move Reggie Bush

Now that the 2009-10 season is in the books, it’s time to start thinking about the 2010-2011 season. One big question that must be asked is if Reggie Bush will be back with the Saints considering he is expected to earn $8 million next season.  Bush only had five rushes for 25 yards, four catches for 38 yards, and one punt return for four yards on Super Bowl Sunday. He did have a big game against the Arizona Cardinals in the Divisional round and scored a touchdown against the Vikings in the NFC Championship Game. Bush is a game-breaker, but his health has been an issue, and he hasn’t proven that he can be an every down back. With this in mind, the Saints could ask Bush to restructure... 

Saints’ Drew Brees Wins Super Bowl MVP Award

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees can now be mentioned, without a doubt, in the same sentence as the other elite quarterbacks in the game after leading the Saints to a 31-17 Super Bowl 44 win and taking home MVP honors. Brees finished the game with a record-tying 32 completions out of 39 attempts for 288 yards and two touchdowns. He was something to marvel at in the four quarter when he strung together 10 straight completions to help the Saints score the go-ahead touchdown. Super Bowl 44 is most Watched TV Show Ever

Yahoo! Sports reports that Super Bowk 44 between the New Orleans Saints and the Indianapolis Colts was the most watched U.S. TV show ever if early Nielsen ratings hold up. An estimated 106.5 million people tuned in for Sunday’s Super Bowl, which breaks the previous record of 105.97 million viewers who tuned in for the 1983 finale of the hit TV show “M-A-S-H” if the estimate holds up. Story lines such as the Saints trying to win the game for their broken city in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and Peyton Manning going for his second Super Bowl ring against the team his father (Archie Manning) played for helped post record ratings. Super Bowl 44 Recap

Super Bowl 44 is in the books with the New Orleans Saints coming out on top 31-17 over the Indianapolis Colts.
