The first team you have to look at is North Carolina here.  This team is loaded with talent and is looking for another national title.  Tyler Hansbrough is the best player in the conference and will be one of the best in the NCAA at the end of the year.

Duke has a nice backcourt returning from last year's disappointing team.  Look for Coach K to ride DeMarcus Nelson, Jon Scheyer, and Greg Paulus to the top of the conference and a nice run through the tournament.

Last year the NC State Wolfpack had a down season, but Gavin Grant and Ben McCauley will have this team back in the tournament this year and near the top of the ACC.

Clemson has been hiding out towards the bottom of the conference but should finally find their way towards the top of the league.  Expect to see this team in the tournament in 2007.

Sean Singletary is one of the best NCAA basketball players in the nation, and he'll lead the Virginia Cavaliers to a promising season.

Maryland seems to have fallen back to the middle of this conference after a few great years.  The loss of some key seniors will have them battling to make the NCAA tournament.

Without any real big name players, and with the loss of a couple of key players from a year ago, we aren't expecting big things out of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets this year.

You won't see the Florida State Seminoles making too many runs at the ACC title in college basketball, and this year won't be one of those exceptions.

Boston College lost a lot of quality players to the NBA from last year's team, so there isn't much surrounding Tyrese Rice and that's why this team will be sitting at home come March Madness.

There is a lot of youth and inexperience in Blacksburg, that's why last year's run through the tournament won't be duplicated at Virginia Tech.

You'll find the Miami Hurricanes near the bottom of the conference and sitting at home after a quick exit in the ACC tournament.

Wake Forest lost their head coach and has a lot of youth and inexperience to overcome if they want out of the bottom of this conference.
