2007 AFC North Predictions2007 Cleveland Browns Predictions & Season PreviewGet ready for the upcoming season with our 2008 Cleveland Browns NFL Predictions! If you think our 2007 Cleveland Browns predictions are going to show anything else than more of the same dismal performance that fans have seen since 1999, you are mistaken. This team has been bad since being reincarnated, and this year's early season schedule will pretty much guarantee more of the same. The offense is young and if Brady Quinn can develop it should be talented in the years to come with Kellen Winslow and Braylon Edwards with Joe Thomas protecting. However, if things play out like they should this year then Romeo Crennel won't be around to direct the development. Bet our 2007 Cleveland Browns Predictions at Bodog, the most trusted name in sports betting! You most likely won't see Quinn out there manning the offense early in the year, so Browns fans will have to endure more of Charlie Frye for awhile. Frye had 10 TDs and 17 interceptions with only 2,454 yards. However, expect Quinn to step in after a period of time, which could come October 28th after Cleveland's bye week in time for St. Louis. Jamal Lewis is a power runner who could give the ground game a boost after a down year from Reuben Droughns, but his yards per carry have been dismal the last two seasons in Baltimore. At receiver Edwards is going to have to mature as he had several personality clashes a year ago in which he only caught 61 passes, but amassed 884 yards. Joe Jurevicious is getting a little old, but is still a reliable possession receiver. Kellen Winslow will be the top target again this year as long as he has a couple of healthy legs to run on. Cleveland's defensive line is old with Ted Washington leading the way at 39. Robaire Smith comes over from the Titans and Orpheus Roye will start on the other side. These guys will have trouble stopping the run and should rank around the 29th mark of a year ago. Kamerion Wimbley was a pleasant surprise as a rookie in 2006 with 11 sacks. Willie McGinest is old as well, but is helping this unit grow. Leon Williams and D'Qwell Jackson are a couple addition second year players that are growing up fast to become playmakers. The secondary had the team's leading tackler in Sean Jones, but the other three positions are a little suspect. Someone will have to step up, but the opposition doesn't really have to throw a lot when the run defense is so pourous. Not a strong play anywhere to be found on the Browns, but if you are looking to bet the win total then we are going to recommend taking the over. Now this number is set pretty tight, and we find only a very small value on taking the over, but 7 wins is more likely than 5. Stay away from this team on all futures wagers because the rest of the division is just too talented to even allow the Browns to make the playoffs, let alone do any damage once there.
