If you don't know Andre Woodson, he's maybe the best quarterback in the SEC. This guy completed 63% of his passes a year ago for 3,515 yards, 31 touchdowns, and only 7 interceptions. His senior year is promising and great expectations are surrounding him. Woodson has Keenan Burton to throw to, which helps his numbers. Burton had 77 catches for 1,036 yards and 12 touchdowns a season ago. Rafael Little has proved reliable at running back, running for over 1,000 yards as a sophomore and nearly that much as a junior playing most of the season with a knee injury that even cost him four games. The line is questionable, but the news out of the spring is the team is exciting about how the unit is gelling. To get to another bowl, let alone win another one the defense needs to improve. Last year this team ranked 118th in total defense and 118th against the pass. The good news is that linebacker Wesley Woodyard returns, who had 122 tackles a year go. Myron Pryon and Jeremy Jarmon both return on the line, and these two were last year's leading guys at rushing the passer. The Wildcat secondary has some holes, but Marcus McClinton and Trevard Lindley can both make big plays from the safety and corner positions. The schedule this year has the tough teams visiting and the teams Kentucky probably has more talent than on the road. Heading to Arkansas, Vanderbilt, and South Carolina are games Kentucky needs to win if they want to make a bowl. The home schedule against Louisville, LSU, Florida, and Tennessee will give Woodson a chance to send his year off with a bang by upsetting one of the big dogs of the SEC.
