2007 AFC East Predictions2007 Miami Dolphins Predictions & Season PreviewNow check out our 2008 Miami Dolphins NFL Season Predictions! Cam Cameron has been brought in to help the Miami Dolphins get out of a funk, but it probably won't be in 2007. This team has all kinds of question marks surrounding it. The biggest concern for us comes on defense where all of the big names are over 30, and there is a significant lack of depth. On offense Trent Green should be an immediate upgrade over what they had last season, and Cameron's offensive background should help get things going a little bit. Bet our 2007 Miami Dolphins Predictions at Bodog, the most trusted name in sports betting! Green is the man in Miami as the team develops their second round pick John Beck. Green had a lot of success in his time with Kansas City, but the team wanted to get younger and at 37, Green didn't fit the plan. He'll provide a reliable stopgap for the Dolphins this year. Ronnie Brown had 1,008 yards a year ago but only 241 carries and 5 TDs. He needs to have a bigger year this year to show he can carry a full load. Lorenzo Booker was drafted out of Florida State to give him some time off. At wide receiver Chris Chambers needs to return to his 2005 form, when he made the Pro Bowl. He should be better with Green throwing the ball. Ted Ginn will get some playing time early and second year guy Derek Hagan will start alongside Chambers, making this a young group of pass catchers. The Dolphins have a good front four but these guys aren't getting any younger. Jason Taylor was Defensive Player of the Year last season and will have the improving Matt Roth starting on the other side. At tackle there is Vonnie Holliday, who earned a contract extension with his play a year ago, and Keith Traylor. Age is the only problem with these four. At linebacker there is the steady Zach Thomas, who will get plenty of help with Joey Porter coming over from Pittsburgh. Channing Crowder was second in the team in tackles and should improve in his third year. The secondary is probably the weak part of the defense with no real standout at corner. They have some decent depth though, but there is going to have to be a heavy pass rush in order to maintain that top 5 pass defense. Getting to 8 wins is going to be a stretch for the Dolphins as they will most likely end up right on the number or go under 7 wins. We are putting out another pretty strong play on the under, but if you want more NFL picks to beat the weekly NFL odds then you need to get signed up for our premium picks as soon as possible.
