2008 NFC East NFL Predictions!
Our 2007 NFC East predictions will
give a breakdown of how we see things turning out for the
teams in this division. There are two teams that we
think are going to make the playoffs, with the Cowboys
winning the division and the Eagles bringing home the wild
card. It's going to be a dog fight once again and
along with the NFC West this will be one of the toughest
divisions top to bottom in the league.

1st Place -
Dallas Cowboys - The Cowboys
will be better off this season with Tony Romo bringing in
11 games of experience as the starting quarterback.
Hopefully Terrell Owens can stay happy, because he should
be healthy this year without having to deal with a
hamstring injury to start the season and the finger
problem that was causing him to drop so many passes should
be healed. The defense should improve under
mastermind Wade Phillips. He wants to use more
zone-blitz and one of the beneficiaries should be Roy
Williams. He'll also have Ken Hamlin to help out in
the secondary, who is coming over from Seattle. This
team should have beat the Seahawks in the playoffs last
year, and Jerry Jones thinks this year's team has all the
tools they need to make the Super Bowl this year.
2nd Place -
Philadelphia Eagles - Can
Donovan McNabb stay healthy? This is the biggest
question mark concerning the Eagles as he has had problems
in his career staying on the field. There is no Jeff
Garcia now to back him up, which could cause problems if
McNabb misses any time. If McNabb is on the field
then him and Brian Westbrook will be more than enough to
lead this offense to the promise land. The defense
is questionable as they have a lot of young players who
will need to step up this year. The team was
terrible against the run last year, so Brodrick Bunkley is
going to be looked upon to have a big year as the primary
run stuffer.
3rd Place -
Washington Redskins - This
team went from a playoff team who made the conference
semis in 2005 to a team that barely got to five wins a
year ago. The roster hasn't changed a whole lot,
except the team has a new offensive leader in Jason
Campbell. He's been working hard in the off-season
to improve, and if he can develop into the quarterback
Washington thinks he can this team will compete for the
division. The running game should be set with two of
the best in Clinton Portis and Ladell Betts. The
defense needs to get pressure on the opposing pass
throwers, because the secondary was upgraded with Fred
Smoot and the drafting of LaRon Landry.
4th Place -
New York Giants - The Giants
barely squeaked their way into the playoffs last season
with Tiki Barber carrying the load. Now the Giants
are going to have to win without their best player from a
year ago, and we think they'll have trouble doing so.
Eli Manning has shown flashes of brilliance and he's also
been a big disappointment, this season he needs to show
more of the former. The defense has everyone back,
but they were 25th in the league last year so that's not
necessarily a good thing. Tom Coughlin earned
himself a one year extension with a playoff berth last
year, but there will be no such playoff spot for them this
season.
