Auburn and Arkansas are two additional teams look upon favorably by the lines makers, but Arkansas has some holes to fill even with Darren McFadden leading the way. The Razorbacks lost there last three games to close out a great run during the 2006 campaign. The other Tigers from Auburn lost a lot from a year ago, but have had some great success recruiting. Brandon Cox will be the one who decides how far this team can go.

The Eastern division is completely loaded with talent and leading the way there are Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, and even Kentucky. The Gators are coming off a National title year, and even though that brings a lot of distractions, this team has one of the easiest roads to the title game in the SEC. Tenneessee's toughest game will come when they make the trip to Florida, but other than that the Vols have a decent schedule as well. Georgia has one of the toughest schedules and they are a young team that is probably a year away from doing serious damage. The Gamecocks will be a better team this year, but with the brutal schedule ahead the chances of them winning the East is small indeed. Kentucky got to 8-5 last year, but three tough road games at Georgia, Arkansas, and South Carolina are going to keep them from making themselves a real threat.
