2007 Super Bowl MVP Odds

Written by Jimmy Boyd on January 19, 2007

When it comes to Super Bowl proposition betting, BetUS takes the cake and they now have their 2007 Superbowl MVP Odds listed below. You should strongly consider using BetUS for your 2007 Super Bowl betting.

Before the Patriots ended the Chargers season, the regular season MVP, LaDainian Tomlison was the favorite to win the Super Bowl MVP award as well. Now that that bridge has been burned, Colts quarterback Peyton Manning has emerged as the front runner to collect the award on Super Bowl Sunday. Surprisingly, Bears quarterback Rex Grossman is next on the list with 10 to 1 odds. I know that quarterback’s are favored MVP candidates just as they are in the Heisman Trophy voting, but how many games this season has Rex Grossman even been the best player for the Bears. Not very many! At 15 to 1 odds, Brain Urlacher is a very strong candidate for the Bears to collect the Super Bowl MVP Award in my opinion. Not surprisingly, the Colts have more frontrunners for the award than do the Bears since it is normally an award dominated by offensive players and the Colts are most definitely an offensive football team. However, Brian Urlacher is the most beloved defender in football receiving more votes to the Pro Bowl than any other defensive player. If the Bears prevail if Super Bowl 41, it will be because of their defense and my money will be on Urlacher to bring home the game’s best player trophy.
