2007 Super Bowl Predictions

Written by Jimmy Boyd on January 19, 2007

It looks like making reliable 2007 Super Bowl predictions to start the year is going to be as difficult as any with so many good teams in contention to make a run. Now that the lineup has been set let’s dive in and take a look. This year’s NFL Championship is going to be played in Miami on February 4, 2007 and all season long will be a battle to see who gets to be crowned king in the Miami air this winter. Let’s take a look at who the oddsmakers are relying on from the reputable sportsbook at BetUS.

Let’s get started in the NFC where the odds makers are banking on the Chicago Bears to beat on all comers. At the beginning of the year we liked how they were bringing back every starter and gave them our prediction to make the Super Bowl. We can’t really go against that right now as they have all the tools. The only blip on the radar is Grossman, who can be great at times and horrible at others. New Orleans is not too far behind the Bears and definitely could give them trouble, especially with the weapons they have on offense. The Eagles are the hottest team in the NFC and could be a dark horse if you want some value. Remember when they made NFC Championship game after Championship game, well Andy Reid knows how to get it done. The Giants and Cowboys are bleeding their way into the playoffs, and should make quick exits. If you want to know who we are going to take for each game, sign up for our NFL picks and start profiting.

So who will the Bears be playing? At the beginning of the year we went with New England, and to be honest we can’t go against that pick for better or worse. Nobody has had success in the post-season like Belichick and Brady and we see that continuing. Of course the Chargers are hot, but Rivers has been struggling and the Pats are a team that can exploit any weakness. The Ravens should scare a lot of teams with a defense, solid running game, and a veteran quarterback.

We took the Pats over the Bears back in July, and we are sticking to our guns. But to make the most money off this playoff run, head on over to the premium side and read our in-depth analysis on each matchup, how strongly we feel about the game, and just who is going to cover the spread.
