However, the Huskers played inspired football last week, nearly winning at Texas outright against a 20.5-point number. Nebraska has won 14 of the last 15 games in this series. Should the books really be favoring the Jayhawks by this much? With money sure to go KU’s way, the Jayhawks could even be slightly bigger favs by game time. Ohio State is a big 15.5-point favorite at home against Wisconsin. The Badgers are coming off a big 30-point win against the Hoosiers, but the oddsmakers are giving them no chance on the road this week. Ohio State reached the 9-0 mark with a 20-point win over Penn State to get to 5-0 in Big Ten play. The Badgers are in a three-way tie for second in the conference. One would think that the point spread would not be this big here with a first place team going against a second. Wisconsin’s terrible loss at Penn State, no doubt, has the books feeling that the Badgers will go down big again on the road.
