2007 Week 11 NFL Odds

This week, all eyes will be on the Indianapolis Colts to see if they can break out of a two-game slide. The oddsmakers feel the Colts will bounce back at home by making them 14.5-point favorites against the Chiefs. What these back-to-back losses have done is make the AFC South a lot more interesting as now Tennessee and Jacksonville are right on Indy’s heels at 6-3. If the Colts can’t get healthy, we could see them drop a couple more games before the season is over, but these likely won’t come at home.

New England heads to Buffalo out of its bye week as 15-point favorites as it continues its quest toward perfection. New England beat Buffalo 38-7 at home in week 3, but now this Bills team has the confidence of four straight wins and home field on its side. Buffalo still shows an inability to put points on the board and that will cost them here, but don’t be surprised if you see a much better defensive effort from the Bills this time around.

We need to get Denver out of the primetime slots as they have played Sunday and Monday nighters more than any team this season. A win last week at Kansas City was much needed, but the Broncos play the previous two weeks is enough to keep me from saying anything more about this week’s MNF matchup. Instead, I’m looking at the Bears versus the Seahawks Sunday afternoon battle. Both of these preseason divisional winner picks have been struggling, but both came up with big wins last week. Chicago will be trying to get back to .500 to stay in the playoff chase and Seattle will be trying to increase its lead in the West. Oddsmakers were impressed by Seattle's MNF victory, and as a result, have made the Seahawks early 5.5-point favorites. If Chicago can win, it will be the first time all season that the Bears have won in back-to-back weeks.
