Bet odds to win the 2008 AFC Championship at BetUS With our 2007 AFC predictions, the New England Patriots are once again the team to beat in the AFC as they have made some big acquisitions in the off-season. The team knows how to win when the playoffs come around and their division is one of the weaker ones with the Dolphins and Bills both down. The Chargers are another team that is in the hunt even though San Diego has lost a lot from their coaching staff. Still, with another year under the belt of Phillip Rivers and LaDanian Tomlinson running the ball there is no reason to think that San Diego won't be in the hunt at year's end. The Indianapolis Colts are coming off a big win in last year's Super Bowl and are once again favored to return to the big game. The team lost a little on defense, but with Manning running the offense it's tough to see them not in the hunt year after year. The Steelers are the team that is showing the most value in this conference after missing the playoffs last season. It's easy to forget about Pittsburgh, but without having to deal with all of the distractions that come with winning the Super Bowl, we expect this team to compete this season. The Bengals are kind of the hot name going around with the general public and television analysts, but be careful. The Ravens are aging and lost a couple of key players from a year ago. Denver is a team you might want to look out for. Cutler got some serious time in last year as the Broncos basically gave up on last year in order to key up for this season. Time will tell if that strategy pays off. BetUS's Odds to Win AFC Championship: Sportsbooks' Odds to win the 2008 AFC San Diego Chargers
