AllState BCS Championship Game: LSU (-5.5) v. Ohio State - total set at 51.5

It looks like even though the LSU Tigers are no. 2 in the final 2007 BCS rankings the odds makers are giving them more credit than the voters did.  Even with two losses LSU is still expected to beat the Buckeyes and win the national title.  Do you think if Les Miles beats Ohio State that Michigan fans will be asking for him even louder?  Ohio State was a huge underdog when Jim Tressell led them over Miami for the national title and you can bet he thinks his team is capable of the same kind of upset.

FedEx Orange Bowl: Virginia Tech (-3.5) v. Kansas - total set at 54

Kansas got the nod here over Missouri as the other Big 12 team besides conference champion Oklahoma and a lot of people questioned that move.  Virginia Tech was one of the teams thought to have a shot at the title game, but LSU squeaked them out and got the invite instead.  It will be interesting to see how Kansas does against the Hokies, since they haven't had a victory against a top 25 team yet this season despite racking up an 11-1 record.

Tostitos Fiesta Bowl: Oklahoma (-6.5) v. West Virginia - total set at 64.5

The sportsbooks are seeing this as a high scoring affair and it's easy to see why with the way these offenses have put up points this year.  Oklahoma dismantled Missouri in the Big 12 Championship game, but it wasn't enough to put them in the championship game.  West Virginia squandered their chance by losing to Pitt and putting up only nine points, which was their lowest total since the 2003 season.  Let's see if they can rebound against a Stoops team that wants to show they were robbed.

Allstate Sugar Bowl: Hawaii (+9.5) v. Georgia - total set at 69

Georgia was one of the hottest teams in the nation to close out the year, but the fact that they didn't earn a spot in the SEC championship game cost them their title shot.  Hawaii is the only undefeated team left in the nation, and the Warriors are looking to follow the footsteps of Boise State last year in beating a top-tier opponent and putting the WAC on the map.  This game should be filled with plenty of excitement and we'll see how ready Colt Brennan is for the NFL by how he moves the ball against this Bulldog defense.

Rose Bowl: USC (-13.5) v. Illinois - total set at 50.5

USC most likely would be playing for another national championship under Pete Carroll if they hadn't been upset by Stanford as 40-point underdogs this year.  The team looks like they are back on track and they'll have to be against Ron Zook's Illinois squad.  The Illini were a real big surprise out of the Big Ten and Juice Williams is an exciting player.  This should be a great game, but on paper the Trojans have more talent.
