This is simply a yes or no bet and at this point, I would say the no's have it as their doesn't appear to be any horse as talented as the one's we saw last season and none of them were able to win more than one Triple Crown race.

Will the winner of the 134th Kentucky Derby win the 140th Belmont Stakes?

The Yes' get great odds here, but this is what I call a sucker bet. It's another way of saying will the Derby Winner win the Triple Crown because if the Derby Winner loses at The Preakness, many times they do not run at the Belmont Stakes.

Will the crowd attendance exceed that of the 156,635 of 2007?

Without quite as much buzz about any of these horses as we had last season with Curlin and Street Sense, I'm expecting a slightly lower turnout. I recommend taking No here.

Will the winner of the 134th Kentucky Derby complete the race faster than the 2:02.17 time of Street Sense in 2007?

I don't see any horse showing the ability of Street Sense. They all seem better suited to synthetic tracks. I anticipate a slower time this year, especially without the same caliber of horses around the favorites to push the pace. Smarty Jones was a great horse in 2004 when there weren't a lot of great horses and as a result ran a time of just 2:04.06. I expect to see something similar this time around.

Will the NBA have a game 7 playoff on Sat May 3rd, Derby Day (4 game 7's scheduled)

This is kind of a zany one like I talked about earlier, but it shows some value and I really like it to happen. Of the four games schedule Philadelphia/Detroit, Phoenix/San Antonio, and Dallas/New Orleans all give us a great possibility of a game 7. One of these, at least, will come through.
