Without quite as much buzz about any of these horses as we had last season with Curlin and Street Sense, I’m expecting a slightly lower turnout. I recommend taking No here.

I don’t see any horse showing the ability of Street Sense. They all seem better suited to synthetic tracks. I anticipate a slower time this year, especially without the same caliber of horses around the favorites to push the pace. Smarty Jones was a great horse in 2004 when there weren’t a lot of great horses and as a result ran a time of just 2:04.06. I expect to see something similar this time around.

Will the NBA have a game 7 playoff on Sat May 3rd, Derby Day (4 game 7’s scheduled)

This is kind of a zany one like I talked about earlier, but it shows some value and I really like it to happen. Of the four games schedule Philadelphia/Detroit, Phoenix/San Antonio, and Dallas/New Orleans all give us a great possibility of a game 7. One of these, at least, will come through.
