Another Team That Can Win: Old Dominion Monarchs Old Dominion finished tied for third in the Colonial Athletic Association this season with a 12-6 mark but the Monarchs appear to be peaking at just the right time. Old Dominion comes in red hot, having won nine of its last 10 with wins over top seed VCU, No. 2 seed George Mason, and Northeastern. Winning in March is all about getting hot at the right time and the Monarchs are ready to break some hearts. Forward Gerald Lee leads the way with 15.7 points per game and guard Ben Finney averages double figures as well. It takes a strong defense to win championships and the Monarchs have just that.
