There is definitely talent there, but this team is yet to put it all together. If they do, they could easily be right in the mix. Last year's second half collapse is cause for concern, however, and Campbell needs a breakout season. Let's see how the Skins lurk in 2009.

Harold, lurking is probably a good word to describe the Skins. The NFC East should be a tight race again with the strong possibility of 3 playoff teams and I would not be surprised at all if the Redskins won the division. With that said, the way they finished last season is cause for concern and Campbell is yet to live up to the expectations for an entire season. While Washington should be better defensively, I'm not sure it will be good enough offensively to win the East. You said it yourself, "if" the Redskins can maintain their running game and "if" their passing game is average. I think Washington will be able to run, but the passing game is going to have to be better than average or defenses are just going to stack the box. Thanks for your 2 cents worth and I wish your Skins well this season.

Bill,<br

The Giants are consistently the best team in the division but the Redskins defense should make them very competitive and it should prove very difficult for teams to run on the Redskins defense. If the Redskins offense can maintain it's run game and improve the passing game to the point of being average statistically they could be a difficult team to play. In the end it will probably come down to who has the fewest injuries.

As far as your picks are concerned; the Eagles clearly have more holes than the Redskins, the Cowboys are overrated as usual just because they’re the Cowboys.<br
