Last week, the rout was on for both teams as the Patriots dominated Atlanta 26-10 and the Ravens rolled over Cleveland 34-3. The Pats and the Ravens have not met since Week 13 of the 2007 season when New England won 27-24 in Baltimore to keep its perfect season alive. Baltimore enters Week 4 as the highest scoring team in the AFC with 103 points, but in two visits to Foxborough, the Ravens have managed just six total points. We can usually count on a strong performance from the Baltimore defense, but the offense will have to keep rolling if it hopes to derail New England on the road.

The Patriots know that keeping Tom Brady healthy is vital to their chances of getting back to the Super Bowl. So far the offensive line has played pretty well, allowing only one sack this season. After getting next to nothing on the ground in the first two weeks, the Patriots exploded for 168 yards on the ground against the Falcons and it is no coincidence that the result was a convincing win. But running the football could be easier said than done against the NFL’s best run defense. But it is worth noting that the Patriots are 15-6 against the spread in their last 21 games after accumulating more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game.
