There are different
basketball odds to look at when betting on any
game. You can place your wager on the money line,
point spread, or the total. We’ll let you in on a
little advice. Betting the point spread gives you
the best chance to win on the most consistent
basis without having to pay ridiculous juice to
play on the money line. The only time playing the
money line can be a good move is if your team is a
1-point favorite. You won’t have to pay out your
neck to take that team on the money line and if
they win by 1-point, you’ll cash in instead of
taking the push.
Unlike basketball, the majority of
baseball betting
is done on the money line. Many sports bettors shy
away from baseball betting because they don’t
understand it. It’s not as difficult to understand
as sports bettors might think and it is actually
the easiest sport to cash in on. Let’s give you a
hypothetical to help you with your understanding.
If the Boston Red Sox are a -123 favorite on the
money line, that means you would pay $123 to win
$100. If the Tampa Bay Devil Rays are +126 dogs,
you would pay just $100 to win $126. So as you can
already see, picking underdogs is the way to go in
baseball.
