OddsCincinnati Bengals v. San Francisco 49ers Betting OddsThis week there will be an NFL game on Saturday so we thought it would be beneficial to take a closer look at the Bengals 49ers odds since most bettors will consider placing some action on the game.
Cincinnati starting out the season looking pretty terrible but have bounced back lately and looked good in wins over the Rams and Titans, but have looked bad in defeats at the hands of the Steelers and Cardinals. The 49ers have just been bad and got pummeled by both the Vikings and Panthers. The loss to Carolina really had us scratching our heads since they aren't even close to being a good team this year. Let's take a look at some trends that we will be factoring in when we make our decision who to play: Cincinnati is 3-7 against the spread (ATS) on their last ten games played on grass, while San Francisco is just 1-7 ATS in their last eight games. The Bengals are 1-7 straight-up (SU) in their last 8 games on the road, but are 5-0 ATS in their last five games against the 49ers. For totals bettors, the UNDER is 4-1 in the Bengals last five contests. The 49ers have won just one game out of their last 11, and have been doing a terrible job of covering the spread. At home things haven't looked much better than on the road as the 49ers are 1-6 in the last seven games and have lost five straight SU. The total has been going UNDER for San Fran with bettors winning four of six going south of the number and five of six in the team's recent home stints. What makes this game interesting and difficult to predict is the fact that the Bengals have two different stripes and you don't know which side is going to turn up on Saturday. You don't really have that problem with San Francisco since both sides of the ball have played poorly and they haven't really given us any reason to think that will not continue. However, getting ten points might be a lot if Cincinnati doesn't show up to play, but if they do the Bengals are more than capable of covering the double digit number. As bad as both offenses have been playing, and the recent propensity for both teams to not put up any points, we are leaning towards taking the UNDER in this one.
