Sunday’s Free Picks

Note: I do not personally bet any of these games as they are my weakest leans of the day and will not hit at as high of a percentage as the plays I have on the premium side. If you’re interested in betting these plays and where I got these lines, check out my NBA odds pages.

Heat/Lakers Over 204

Both of these teams have been giving up a ton of points recently. The Heat have given up 108 and 115 points in the first two games of their current road trip and its not going to get any better tonight as the Heat are fatigued (playing lots of games in few days) and they are up against one of the best offenses in the NBA. The Lakers are averaging 109.5 points per game at home, but they have also been giving up a lot of points. Los Angeles has given up 100 or more points in five of their last six games. They gave up 106 or more in four of those and more than 113 in three of those. This line is being held down because we have seen three straight under in this matchup but that all changes tonight. Miami is 13-1 over in road games after 3 consecutive non-conference games over the last 3 seasons. The average score in these games was 108.5 to 109.1. LA is 14-6 over as a home favorite this season. The average score in these games was 109.5 to 99.0. Bet the Heat/Lakers over 204 at BetUS and receive up to 145 percent in sign up bonuses.

Golden State Warriors +2

The Warriors are playing good basketball of late, even if its record doesn’t reflect it. Golden State has taken the best in the west (Utah, Los Angeles Lakers, Portland) down to the wire over their last three games. Those contests will have Golden State’s intensity level high and the Warriors will be ready to jump all over a Pacers team that is just 6-14 on the road Sunday. This is the fourth game of a six game road trip for the Pacers and I don’t see them having much left after playing the Lakers to a 119-121 game Friday. In know Golden State is playing a back-to-back here, but it will be happy to be back at home where it is much better this season. The Pacers have certainly not done enough to be trusted as a road favorite anywhere against anyone. The Pacers are 1-4 against the spread in their last 5 games as a favorite and 2-8 against the spread following an against the spread win. The Warriors are a fantastic 55-25-3 against the spread in their last 83 games as a home underdog and 18-7-1 against the number in their last 26 games as a home underdog of 4.5 points or less. Bet the Warriors at +2 at Bookmaker.

Sacramento Kings +4

The Kings are due for a win in the worst way and they will be out for blood against a team that buried them 101-78 in late November. Dallas is just 2-6 against the spread over its last eight games and the Mavs have been overvalued here. With the Mavs playing Denver next, we’ll catch them coasting here. Nowitzky and Terry have both struggled recently and Josh Howard will likely miss this one. Odds makers have set the trap for a Kings cover and a big payday as everyone and their brother will be on Dallas.. Bet the Kings at +4 at BetUS.
