The PGA Tour is headed to Grand Blanc, Michigan this week for the 2009 Buick Open at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club. Last year it was Kenny Perry who came away with the win, but he will not be participating this week. While fans are excited to see Tiger Woods back in the field, after he was forced to miss the tournament last year because of knee problems, there is no doubt the rest of the field would rather the star take another week off. With the tournament just a few days away I have broken down the field into the favorites, guys in the middle of the pack, and the long shots who I feel have a good shot at winning this weekend.

Favorites: Tiger Woods +120, Jim Furyk +1000, Justin Leonard +1500, Scott Verplank +2000, and Brian Gay +2000
After a dismal performance at the British Open, I think Woods comes into the Buick Open and plays at a very high level and I feel like it will take another player having an amazing weekend to top the best golfer in the world. Furyk could be that guy, and he has proven he can win at this event, as he did so back in 2003. Both Leonard and Verplank have won this event, but it was quite a while ago, as Verplank won in 1988 and Leonard won back in 1996. The guy to beat is definitely Woods, but anyone one of these guys could come away with the win.

Middle of the Pack: Nick Watney +2500, Woody Austin +2500, Brandt Snedeker +3000, Kevin Na +4000, Rory Sabbatini +5000, KJ Choi +5000, and Chad Campbell +5500
Another solid group of golfers with a little more favorable odds for the better, but Its hard telling which one of these guys will come out and play well enough to win this weekend. Austin might be the safest pick based on his play at this event over his career, as he won the event back in 1995 and has finished tied for second in each of his last two starts at this event. Other than Austin I like both Watney and Na to play well this weekend.

Long Shots: Andres Romero +6000, Michael Letzig +6000, Ryan Moore +6000, Mark Calcavecchia +6500, Daniel Chopra +7000, John Rollins +10000, Ken Duke +13000, Matt Jones +14000, Rocco Mediate +12000, David Duval +13000, and Tom Pernice +13000
There are a bunch of golfers in this group that could surprise the field and be there on Sunday with a chance to win. Duke, Jones, and Rollins all finished in the top 10 last year at this event, but its hard to say if they will be able to repeat that success. Both Mediate and Pernice have won this event in their careers, and could be a threat again this weekend. Everyone is still waiting for Duval to play like he did at the US Open, but its hard telling when or if he will.

There were plenty of surprises last week at the British Open. Tiger Woods failed to make the cut for the first time at the Open Championship, and missed only his 2nd cut at a major championship since missing the cut back in 2006 at the US Open. Then there was Tom Watson, who at the age of 59 nearly captured his 6th Open Championship and 9th major win of his career, but couldn’t make par on 18 and wound up losing in a playoff to Stewart Cink. With all the excitement behind us the PGA Tour heads to Canada this week for the 2009 RBC Canadian Open at Glen Abby Golf Course in Oakville, Ontario. Last year it was Chez Reavie who came away with the trophy, but all eyes will be on Mike Weir this weekend, as the Canadian looks to be the first to win his country’s event since Pat Fletcher did so back in 1954. To help you get ready for the action this weekend I have broken down the field into the favorites, guys in the middle of the pack, and the long shots who I feel have a shot to win.

Favorites: Mike Weir +1500, Retief Goosen +1500, Sean O’Hair +2000, Camillo Villegas +2000, and Anthony Kim +2000
Weir has to be a big threat to win this weekend, as it looks as though he has finally figured out this golf course, after finishing 2nd in 2004 Weir came back and finished tied for 5th here last season. Last year O’Hair and Kim both finished in the top 10 at this event, but the guy I think you really need to keep an eye on is Goosen, who really played well last week at the British Open. The pressure really falls on Weir this week to finally provide his country with a win at their event.

Middle of the Pack: Luke Donald +2500, Aaron Baddeley +3000, Steve Marino +3000, Scott Verplank +3000, and Stephen Ames +3000
Verplank won this event back in 2001, but that win came at Royal Montreal Golf Club. Last year Marino tied for 3rd at this event, and led all players with 23 birdies and I think he is a huge threat to come away with a win this weekend if he can avoid making the simple mistakes. This will be the first start for Donald at Glen Abbey, but many think he will be a big threat this weekend, as he has finished in the top 10 five times already this season, including a tie for 5th last week at the British Open.

Long Shots: John Mallinger +4000, Jerry Kelly +4000, Jonathan Byrd +4000, Mathew Goggin +4000, Kevin Na +4000, Brandt Snedeker +4000, John Senden +5000, Fred Couples +6000, and Chez Reavie +10000
Finally we get to a group of golfers that you really don’t know if you are going to get some real quality golf or guys that don’t even make it to the weekend. It will be interesting to see if Reavie can play well again in 2009 after winning here in 2008, but the guys that I really like out of this group are Kevin Na and Jonathan Byrd.

Betting on the British Open odds this week is eerily similar to Tour de France betting. Why? Because both events can trick you into picking the big superstar to win. Lance Armstrong is probably too old and rusty to triumph on his bike and, for totally different reasons, Tiger Woods could lead you astray this week. Let’s have a look at the most talked about British Open picks this week.

Tiger Woods (+185)

Why he could win: Do we need another reason besides “Because he’s Tiger Woods”? Well, we know Tiger lives in the top 10 at virtually every major, so he’ll contend even if he’s not at his best. We also know that the last three Open Championship winners at Turnberry were ranked first in the world at the time.

Why he won’t win: His length off the tee won’t really help him since Turnberry isn’t overly long. Also, Turnberry punishes poor course management and inaccurate drives. Tiger has struggled to find the fairway all season and may have to scramble for pars this week if he finds the rough.

Padraig Harrington (+2200)

Why he could win: He’s an obvious sportsbook pick simply because he won the last two British Opens. The Irishman is used to links golf and known as one of the best course managers on tour, so he’ll know how to play Turnberry.

Why he won’t win: The 2008 Player of the Year looks like Nationwide Tour material this season. Paddy’s been beyond bad, missing five straight cuts and posting zero top 10s. It’s betting management suicide to pick him.

Steve Stricker (+3300)

Why he could win: He’s as hot as anyone entering the tournament, having won last week and twice in the last four weeks. He’s played well all year, posting seven top-10s, and he’s cracked the top 10 in the last two British Opens. He’s a good scrambler and putter who doesn’t make many mistakes on the course.

Why he won’t win: As well as he’s played, Stricker’s wins always seem to come in Mickey-Mouse events with weak fields right before or after a major. He often crumbles in pressure situations when paired with top players, so history suggests that will happen should he reach the final group on Sunday.
Henrik Stenson (+4000)

Why he could win: Looking cool as a cucumber, Stenson outdueled bigtime fields to win the World Match Play and the Players Championship this season. He also has top-10s in three of his last four majors, so he’s on the cusp of victory.

Why he won’t win: He may be a bit rusty playing against a field this big. He’s played just two PGA events since May, so he may have to clear the cobwebs and readjust to playing under the spotlight.

Daily sports pick: Stenson. He can handle the pressure, even after a layoff, and he’s playing well overall in 2009.

We are just a couple of days away from the 2009 British Open, and all eyes will be on the last two guys that have won this tournament. First everyone will be watching to see if Tiger Woods can come into the Open and win a major for the first time since winning the US Open last year. Woods won his 2nd and 3rd British Open titles in a row in 2005 and 2006, but it has been all Padraig Harrington the last two years, as he won his first ever major at Carnoustie in 2007 and then backed it up in 2008 with a win at Royal Birkdale. This year the tournament heads back to Turnberry for the first time since 1994, and that means a lot of players will be challenging a course that they never seen. Here is a look at the field broken down into the favorits, guys in the middle of the pack, and a few long shots I feel have a shot at coming away with the win.

Favorite: Tiger Woods +180, Ian Poulter +2000, Sergio Garcia +2000, and Retief Goosen +2000
I don’t think it comes as a surprise to anyone that Tiger Woods is the overall favorite to win this weekend, but by how much might be a little shocking. It hurts that Phil Mickelson is not in the field this weekend, but this isn’t Mickelson’s best major by any means. I look for Garcia to be the one that really challenges Tiger this weekend, and what better story would it be than for Garcia to be in contention for his first ever major win this weekend.

Middle of the Pack: Rory McIllroy +2500, Padraig Harrington +2500, Lee Westwood +2500, Hunter Mahan +2500, Geoff Ogilvy +3000, Anthony Kim +3000, Henrik Stenson +3000, Jim Furyk +3000, Paul Casey +3000, Steve Stricker +3000, and Martin Kaymer +3000
A bunch of very good golfers in this group, and if you are simply looking for a value bet this weekend, I don’t know how you look past Harrington, as he has proven his game is made for this event. Also keep a close eye on the youngster McIllroy, as he comes in off a 10th place finish at the US Open, and could be the surprise of the tournament this weekend. A couple of other guys I am very high on this weekend are Geoff Ogilvy, Henrik Stenson, and Paul Casey, as I feel all three of these golfers have the game to win at Turnberry.

Long Shots: Ernie Els +4000, Adam Scott +4000, Ross Fisher +4000, Zach Johnson +5000, Kenny Perry +5000, David Toms +6000, David Duval +6000, Sean O’Hair +6000, Vijay Singh +6000, and Justin Leonard +10000
Some big names with some pretty good betting odds here, but it hasn’t been very easy for a lot of the PGA Tour stars to come over and play well at the Open Championship. The two guys I like out of this group are O’Hair and Els, but I think there will be a lot of people watching Duval and how he plays this weekend after finishing tied for 2nd at the US Open.

The PGA Tour heads to the Midwest this week for the 2009 John Deere Classic at TPC Deer Run in Silvis, Illinois. Last year it was Kenny Perry who walked away with the trophy, as he was able to defeat Brad Adamonis and Jay Williamson in a playoff. While Perry is back this year to defend his title, some of the big names like Woods and Mickelson will not be in action this weekend. The key to winning this weekend is making as many birdies as you can, as over the last decade the winning score has been between 16 and 22 under. That means players have to take advantage of nearly every par-5 if they want a solid chance at winning this tournament. With just a couple days separating fans and players from first round action, I have broken down the field into the favorites, guys in the middle of the pack, and the long shots I feel have a good shot at winning.

Favorites: Kenny Perry +1000, Steve Stricker +1200, Zach Johnson +1500, David Toms +1500, and Lucas Glover +2000
There is no question that Perry is a strong threat to win this weekend, but I think he has just as good a chance to win this weekend as the other four guys in this group. Toms and Stricker have both been playing strong golf this season, and there might not be anyone playing much better than Glover right now, as he backed up his US Open win with a tie for 11th at the Travelers Championship and a tie for 5th last week at the AT&T National. Johnson has the game to win at TPC Deer Run, but hasn’t faired well over the last couple of years.

Middle of the Pack: Ryan Moore +2500, Davis Love III +2500, Scott Verplank +3000, John Senden +3000, and Bryce Molder +3000
I personally am not the biggest fan of this group of golfers to play well this weekend. Not one of these golfers have finished in the top 20 at this event over the last two years, but if I had to pick one guy to play well this weekend out of this group it would be Senden, who won this tournament back in 2006. Senden has failed to make the cut in his last two starts at this event following his win, so you might want to think twice before picking this guy to win this weekend.

Long Shots: Aaron Baddeley +4000, Matt Bettencourt +4000, Steve Marino +4000, Woody Austin +4000, Chad Campbell +5000, Charley Hoffman +5000, David Duval +5000, Matt Kuchar +5000, and DJ Trahan +6000
I think if you are looking for a sleeper outside of the favorites this weekend, you will have better luck taking one of these long shots to win. Campbell and Austin both finished in the top 10 here last year, and are solid options to come away with the win. Other guys that I really like in this group are Trahan, Marino, and Bettencourt, as I feel all three of these guys could surprise the rest of the field with a win. While I am not sold on Duval being back to where he was when he was the No.1 golfer in the world, there will be a lot of eyes watching him after his tie for 2nd at the US Open in his last start.

The PGA Tour is heading to our nation’s capital this week, as some of the best golfers in the world get ready to take aim at the 2009 AT&T National event in Washington D.C. Not only will there be fireworks in the sky for the 4th of July this weekend, but there should be plenty of excitement surrounding this event, as its hosted by non other than Tiger Woods. Last year Woods was unable to play in his own event due to knee problems, but that didn’t stop Anthony Kim from grabbing the trophy after an impressive 12 under 268. With another strong field and Woods back in action at his own event, there figures to be plenty of strong play this weekend. For those of you looking to do some PGA Tour betting this weekend, I have broken down the field into the favorites, guys in the middle of the pack, and the long shots I think have a shot to win.

Favorites: Tiger Woods +175, Jim Furyk +1500, Hunter Mahan +1500, Anthony Kim +2000, and Paul Casey +2000

No surprise at all that Woods is the overall favorite to win his own tournament by a long shot, but in his one start at this event back in 2007 Woods finished 6th. While Mahan has finished 12th or better in each of the last two years at this event, Furyk is coming off back to back third place finishes at this event. Kim is the defending champion, and has the game to repeat even with Woods in the field. Casey gets into the favorite list just based on how well he has been playing this season. No question I like Woods to win this weekend, but I think both Furyk and Mahan have excellent shots at coming away with the trophy.

Middle of the Pack: Sean O’Hair +2500, Vijay Singh +3000, Robert Allenby +3000, Mike Weir +3000, Lucas Glover +4000, and Ryan Moore +4000
Another solid group of golfers here, including the US Open Champion Lucas Glover, who wound up finishing tied for 11th last week at the Travelers Championship. Moore also played well at the event coming in tied for 4th. I think the guys to watch out for in this group are O’Hair and Singh, as I love the way O’Hair has been striking the ball this season, and I feel like Singh still has something left in the tank and the game to come away with a win.

Long Shots: Steve Marino +5000, Paul Goydos +5000, Nick Watney +5000, KJ Choi +5000, Bubba Watson +5000, John Senden +5000, Davis Love III +6000, Charlie Hoffman +6000, Boo Weekley +8000, and Rocco Mediate +10000
A lot of interesting options here with some very good odds for your money. The course favors the long hitter this weekend, so guys like Watson, Sendon, Love III, and Hoffman all have an advantage going into this weekend. Choi won this event back in 2007, so he is a threat to play well. I also think you have to keep a close eye on Rocco Mediate, as this guy tied for 8th in 2007 and came back and tied for 18th last year. My favorites out of this group are Watson and Love III, as I think both of these guys are going to play exceptionally well this weekend.

After an exciting weekend in New York where Lucas Glover came away with the biggest win of his career at the 2009 US Open, the PGA Tour stays out east and heads to Cromwell, Connecticut for the 2009 Travelers Championship at TPC at River Highlands. Where making par was a pretty good thing last week at Bethpage Black, the guys in action this week should have a much easier time shooting low scores, as Stewart Cink won this event last year with an impressive total of 262 for an 18-under finish. While you might expect a lot of the golfers to take some time off after all the preparation and mental focus that goes into playing in the US Open, the field this weekend at the Travelers Championship is pretty well stacked. In fact I have broken down the field into the favorites, guys in the middle of the pack, and the long shots that I think have a shot to win this weekend.

Favorites: Hunter Mahan +1200, Sergio Garcia +1500, Vijay Singh +1500, Stewart Cink +2000, Zach Johnson +2000, Kenny Perry +2000, and David Toms +2000
A lot of guys to like in this group, but none like Mahan, who finish tied for second last year, won this thing in 2007, and was runner up in 2006. Mahan also comes in off a strong weekend at the US Open. Cink will look to defend his title, and he might have a pretty good chance considering he has finished in the top 10 five times at this event. Perry, Toms, and Singh have all played well here before, and any one of these guys could come away with the win this weekend. Also don’t count out Garcia or Johnson this weekend, as they have a very good shot at winning this thing as well.

Middle of the Pack: Anthony Kim +2500, Brian Gay +3000, Justin Leonard +3000, Lucas Glover +3000, Woody Austin +3000, Steve Marino +3000, Kevin Na +4000, Justin Rose +4000, Dustin Johnson +4000, Bubba Watson +4000, and Ben Curtis +4000
Its hard to look past Glover with the odds he has to win this thing after playing so well at the US Open, but I think it will be a big challenge to win again this weekend. The guys I like out of this group are Watson, Marino, and Kim. I think all three of these golfers have the game to play well here this weekend, and if one of these guys can get off to a hot start on Thursday and Friday, it just might be enough to get them the win this weekend.

Long Shots: Scott Verplank +5000, Ryan Moore +5000, Kevin Sutherland +5000, J.J. Henry +6000, Boo Weekley +6000, Chad Campbell +8000, Stuart Appleby +8000, Ryuji Imada +8000, Pat Perez +8000, Chris DiMarco +8000, Nick O’Hern +8000, Ricky Barnes +15000
This is where it really get hard to figure out just which of these golfers is going to come out and play well this weekend. Henry won this event back in 2006, so it shows you that the winner can come from the back of the field. I think along with Henry the guys out of this group to watch this weekend are DiMarco, Campbell, and O’Hern, as all three have played well here at some point of over the last few years. The most interesting guy in this group is Ricky Barnes, who stunned everyone with his play at the US Open, and while he didn’t come away with the win, another strong performance this weekend would really back up his strong play at the US Open.

The US Open is almost here, as the best golfers in the world get ready to take aim at the always difficult Bethpage Black golf course in Farmingdale, New York. The tournament is scheduled to get underway this Thursday and conclude on Father’s Day this Sunday. Last year Tiger Woods put on one of the more memorable displays in golf history. Woods played the tournament practically on one leg, and still had enough in the tank to win a classic playoff with Rocco Mediate in the unusual playoff at the US Open that requires an extra 18 holes to be played to decide the winner. Bethpage Black won’t be an easy task to handle for many of the golfers this weekend, as this course requires an assortment of shots and precise accuracy to shoot well. The last time the US Open was played at this course was back in 2002 and it was Tiger Woods who came away with the win, but the course has made a number of changes, including adding over 200 yards to the course, so its anyones to win this weekend. I have broken down the field into the favorites, guys in the middle of the pack, and the long shots I feel have a shot to play well and possibly win this weekend.

Favorites: Tiger Woods +125, Phil Mickelson +1000, Jim Furyk +1500, and Geoff Ogilvy +2000
Woods comes in as the heavy favorite this weekend, and there is a pretty good chance that this guy will be right there in the thick of things when the tournament is winding down on Sunday afternoon. With the win at the US Open last year, Woods now has 3 career wins at this historic second major of the season. While Furyk won this event in 2003 and Ogilvy captured this title in 2006, Mickelson is still looking for his first win at a US Open. With all that is going on with Phil and his life outside of golf, it would be a remarkable win for him if he was able to capture the title this year, but I think his head might be else where, and you can’t win at Bethpage unless you are focused from the time you tee it up on Thursday till the final putt is made on the 18th green on Sunday.

Middle of the Pack: Paul Casey +2500, Retief Goosen +3000, Steve Stricker +3000, Vijay Singh +4000, Sergio Garcia +4000, Sean O’Hair +4000, Rory McIlroy +4000, Padriag Harrington +4000, David Toms +4000, Henrik Stenson +4000, and Camilo Villegas +4000
There is a lot of golfers in this group that could come out and really play well this weekend, and then there is a few guys that could really disappoint as well. Goosen is the only golfer in this group that has won this event, and I think its pretty safe to say he will play well this weekend. Other guys I like to play well here at Bethpage are Casey, Stricker, and O’Hair. The guys I think that will really struggle out of this group are McIlroy, Toms, Stenson, and Villegas. I could be completely wrong here, as any one of these guys could have the tournament of their lives this weekend.

Long Shots: Ernie Els +5000, Ian Poulter +5000, Kenny Perry +5000, Luke Donald +5000, Mike Weir +6000, Anthony Kim +6000, Stewart Cink +6000, Tim Clark +6000, Zach Johnson +6000, Angel Cabrera +7500, and Rocco Mediate +10000
A lot of interesting options here for those of you looking for a solid sleeper to win this weekend. Els has won this event twice in his career, but the last win came all the way back in 1997. Cabrera won the Masters earlier this season, and was the 2007 winner of the US Open, so he could really have a great start to the season if he wins this weekend. Other golfers that I like to play well here this weekend are Perry, Donald, and Johnson, as I think all three of these guys have what it takes to handle the difficult venue at Bethpage Black.

This week the PGA Tour makes its final stop before the US Open at the 2009 St. Jude Classic in Memphis, Tennessee. Last week Tiger Woods had a Sunday for the ages, as he came from 4 shots back to win the Memorial Tournament and hit some of the best shots of his career during that charge. Woods will not be in action this week when players take aim at TPC at Southwind, but some other big names like Phil Mickelson, Sergio Garcia, Padraig Harrington, and defending champion Justin Leonard are ready to go after another win and get their games ready for the second major of the season next week. With action set to get underway in just a matter of days, I have broken down the field into the favorites, guys in the middle of the pack, and the long shots I feel have a shot to win this weekend.

Favorites: Phil Mickelson +1000, Tim Clark +1000, David Toms +1000, Sergio Garcia +1500, and Justin Leonard +1500

A lot to like out of this group, and I feel like there is a good chance we will see a number of these guys with a shot to win this weekend. This is the first tournament for Mickelson since he took a break to help care for his wife, and you have to think he is going to come out a little more motivated to win this week. Toms and Leonard have both won here twice, and it would be no surprise to see one of these two guys holding the trophy at the end of the day. Garcia played well here last year finishing tied for 4th and Clark is a guy who is going to get his first win real soon, as he is just too good not to.

Middle of the Pack: Camil Villegas +2000, Henrik Stenson +2000, Padraig Harrington +2500, Retief Goosen +2500, Andres Romero +3000, Robert Allenby +3000, and Stephen Ames +3000

Another packed group full of great golfers here, and while the big names of Villegas, Goosen, and Harrington stick out, I think guys like Allenby and Ames are great bets to play well this weekend. Allenby finished 2nd here a year ago, and he has the game that fits the difficult courses like Southwind. Ames is another great ball striker coming into this tournament, and he is coming off his best ever finish at Southwind with a tie for 13th last year.

Long Shots: Woody Austin +4000, Matt Kuchar +4000, Boo Weekley +4000, Scott Verplank +4000, Brian Gay +4000, John Senden +5000, Bob Estes +6000, and Alex Cejka +8000

I really like this group to have a few guys be up there in the leaderboard this weekend, and even a shot at winning it all. Austin won this event back in 2007 and when he has it going he can play with anyone. Cejka also played well here last year finishing tied for 4th, but the guy I think has the best shot to win out of this group is Scott Verplank, as Verplank has finished in the top 10 each of the last years at this event.

For those of you looking for the rest of the fields odds to win this weekend, be sure to check out the complete list at Sportsbook.com.

This week the PGA Tour heads to Dublin, Ohio for the 2009 Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village Golf Club. Last week Steve Stricker was able to hold off Tim Clark and Steve Marino in a 3 man playoff for his first win of the year at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial. Stricker will be one of many great golfers looking to take aim at one of the tougher courses on tour. Its not landing your drive in the fairway that makes this course difficult, it’s the degree of difficulty of getting your ball on the green in regulation and converting the ones that miss into pars. Last year it was Kenny Perry who took home the trophy, but all eyes will be on Tiger Woods who returns to action at Muirfield after a year off. With so many great players in action this week, I have decided to break down the field into the favorites, guys in the middle of the pack, and the long shots I feel have a shot at winning this weekend.

Favorites: Tiger Woods +300, Paul Casey +1200, Jim Furyk +1800, Vijay Singh +2000, and Kenny Perry +2000

With the US Open just a couple of weeks away Tiger Woods makes his first start since the Players Championship nearly a month ago, and everyone will be watching to see if he can dominate this tournament once again. Woods won this event 3 straight times between 1999-2001, and there is a very good chance he can grab number 4 this weekend. It won’t be easy for Tiger, as everyone but Casey has won this event at least once. Even without a win here Casey is a huge threat, as he is playing some of the best golf in the world right now. I think each one of these golfers could come away with a win this weekend, but I think you can pretty much bank on Woods, Perry, and Casey being right in the thick of things come the final round on Sunday.

Middle of the Pack: Sean O’Hair +2500, Steve Stricker +2500, Zach Johnson +2500, Geoff Ogilvy +2500, Ian Poulter +3000, and Camilo Villegas +3000

When you have 6 golfers with this much talent in the middle of the pack, you know that you are in for a great weekend of golf. Its hard to find a weak spot in this group, as each one of these golfers has played well this season. Though I am a big fan of Johnson and what he brings to the table, I think O’Hair, Ogilvy, and Stricker are the 3 guys out of this group with the best shot at coming out on top when all 72 holes have been played.

Long Shots: Ernie Els +4000, Luke Donald +4000, Padraig Harrington +4000, Mike Weir +5000, Steve Marino +5000, K.J. Choi +6000, Justin Rose +6000, and Ryan Moore +10000

Another strong group here and for those of you looking for a guy with great odds to win this week, I think you got a number of players here that could be the winner. Els and Choi have both won this event in the last 5 years, and guys like Weir, Moore, Donald, and Rose have been all over the top 10 in this tournament over the last couple of years. Both Weir and Rose finished tied for 2nd last year, while Donald came in tied for 6th. In 2007 Moore finished all alone in 2nd place just one shot off the lead. If I had to pick just two guys out of this group, it would be Choi and Moore, as I think there game really fits well at this course.
