Take out those OT results and calculate the numbers without the OT and you will find that the Nets have been playing some outstanding defense, holding their last six opponents to an average of just under 91 PPG. If they keep that up tonight that will be real bad news for a Sacramento team that struggles to find the basket on the road. They average only 95 PPG in road contests and have scored an average of only 93 PPG in their last five regardless of venue. The Nets scoring has been down as well as of late and we just don’t see where the points will come from tonight to get this one over 200.

Niagara leads the head-to-head series with Loyola, 28-14, and that includes a sweep of both meetings last season. They enter this game having won six of their last seven games including going 2-0 in MAAC play. They are led by one of the best juniors in the country in Bilal Benn, as he comes here from Villanova and they will use strong guard play to notch the victory.

5 Unit Play. #43 Take Ohio State Buckeyes over Texas Longhorns (Fiesta Bowl Monday 8:00 pm FOX) This is my upset special! Buckeyes were embarrassed last year, but no repeat is in sight. They have done extremely well in the Fiesta Bowl winning the game straight-up three of their last four trips. One needs to look past the Southern Cal loss, as their running back was injured and they had yet to decide on the quarterback. Since QB Pryor has taken over this team has improved each week and they now have an outstanding run/pass option similar to QB McCoy and the Horns. QB McCoy is the better QB in this game and he had an outstanding year, but he has not seen a defense like this in the Big XII. Look for this to be a low scoring battle and getting the points is too good to pass up. The money line (+260) may also be worth a look for a few tokens as well. Ohio State 27, Texas 24.
