Schmidt battled pretty well in his first start back to pick up a win against the Reds 6 days ago. I expect him to show major improvements today against a team he has owned. Schmidt is 9-0 when starting against Florida in his career with an ERA of 3.28 and a WHIP of 1.169. The Dodgers have won 6 of their last 7 games and are an impressive 45-16 in their last 61 games as a home favorite. The Fish send Volstad to the hill and they are only 3-7 in his last 10 starts. But here’s the clincher: they are 0-9 in his last 9 starts following a Quality Start in his last appearance. It’s hard to pass up the best team in baseball at this price.
