If you keep reading below the odds then we will have a little writeup on the team so you can take a look and break down whether you think there is value being listed in the numbers. If you want to do a little NFL betting, then this is a great way to get started but if you want to make real money gambling on the weekend's games, then we recommend getting signed up for Jimmy Boyd's NFL picks package.
Superbook has given Green Bay's odds to win the Super Bowl at +400 (that means for every $10 you bet you can win $80). The odds that the Packers win the Super Bowl at one of our favorites in BetUS Sportsbook are currently listed at +425. The best value for the odds of the Packers winning the Super Bowl are at +450 at Bodog Sportsbook. Brett Favre once again led the passing attack for the Green Bay Packers, completing 356 of his 535 passes for a 66.5% completion rate. He also had 4,155 yards and 28 touchdowns to go along with 15 interceptions, good for a passer rating of 95.7. He seems happy to have a good group of receivers to throw to, and a decent running back so he's not forcing as many throws and letting the game come to him. It's exciting to see Favre back in the playoffs for what could be the last time. The running game was a big unknown heading into the season with Brandon Jackson, DeShawn Winn, and Vernand Morency all fighting for playing time. However, it was little known Ryan Grant who emerged from the pack and hasn't looked back since taking over. He carried the ball 188 times this year for 956 yards and eight touchdowns, giving Green Bay a little bit of balance after their pass heavy attack to start the season. There were four solid options at receiver this year, led by Donald Driver. Driver was Favre's favorite target once again with 82 catches and 1,048 yards, but he only got into the end zone twice. Greg Jennings led the way in that department with 12 scores to go with 53 catches. He was the deep threat with 920 yards and a 17.4 yards per catch average. Donald Lee had 48 grabs and James Jones caught 47 ball to help Favre spread it around the field. Defensively the team can really get to the quarterback as Aaron Kampman racked up 12 sacks to go with Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila's 9.5. Charles Woodson and Al Harris help for an admirable secondary, while Nick Barnett and AJ Hawk really make things tough from the linebacker spot. This defense hasn't gotten the credit they deserve, and when the Packers host a playoff game the opposition better be ready to take a pounding.
