Hatton Mayweather Betting

On Saturday, December 8th, Ricky Hatton will be his undefeated record on the line and show the world what he is made of when he enters the ring at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas to battle fellow unbeaten Floyd Mayweather.  For the first time that he has been on our radar Hatton will be the underdog.  If you are interested in wagering on the boxing odds then by betting Hatton at +190 you'll be getting a great payday.

Hatton at 29 is a year young than Mayweather, and stands at 43-0 with 31 victories by knockout.  He's a British fighter who goes about his business in a quit matter, a stark contrast to the flashy and mouthy Floyd Mayweather.  Hatton is coming off a big win against a highly-regarded fighter in Jose Luis Castillo.  Hatton gave Castillo a huge shot to the stomach in the fourth round, which put him at the top of the ranks and gave him a shot at Mayweather.

Mayweather probably has the more impressive resume with victories over the likes of Diego Corrales, Arturo Gatti, Zab Judah, and Oscar de la Hoya.  He's 38-0 with 24 knockouts and is listed as the favorite.  For those of you betting on Mayweather at -240 you'll hope for a win or take a big hit to the bankroll.  He is a six time world champ in five different weight classes who has sweet moves and an impressive motor mouth.

This is going to be one of those classic matchups of Mayweather the boxer versus Hatton the brawler and the difference in personalities provides for interesting entertainment as well.  The 5'6" Hatton will come out with a lot of heart, but has a two inch disadvantage to his opponent.  Mayweahter likes to win technically, so we expect him to jab and run.  Which fighter will pick up his first loss?  If you have an opinion then we recommend opening up an account at one of the sportsbooks listed below and get in on the action wherever you can find the best number for your fighter.
