March Madness is the term commonly used for the NCAA Basketball
championship. The games are played during the month of March
with the Final Four occurring most years in the month of April.
The NCAA tournament didn't start using March Madness to describe
their event until the 1980s, but ever since it has been known as the
craze that takes over the country each and every year during this
time.
One of the reasons March Madness has become so popular over
the years is how much fun people have with
March Madness Betting. 65
teams start off in the tournament with 33 games played in the first two
days, the 16 games are played on the following two days to set up the Sweet
16. This allows for a lot of different betting opportunities for
sports handicappers.
Every year, office pools across the country are made up and
people fill out their NCAA tournament brackets. After Selection
Sunday, teams are seeded 1 to 16 in 4 regional divisions across the country.
After playing their way down to a regional winner, these 4 teams continue on
to the Final Four. The national champion is crowned at the conclusion
of this single elimination tournament. If you are looking to win your
office pool this year, take a look at the NCAA tournament brackets that
Jimmy Boyd puts out from his team of
college basketball
handicappers. You won't be disappointed.
