MLB Betting
For the American Public, there is no more underrated form of
wagering then MLB Betting. The funny thing is, betting on baseball
offers the best chances for making major profit. If you’re not playing
baseball, you can bet on it people. No Pete Rose rule applies here. Some
people may be confused by the fact that
baseball betting uses the money line.
You can also wager on total runs and the run line, but placing your bet on
the money line is by far the most popular and by far shows the best odds.

Many clients ask me what their starting point should be for handicapping
baseball. You have to start with the pitchers. If a team has a certain
pitchers number, you will more than likely want to bet against that team and
that pitcher. Conversely, if Roger Clemens, for example, owns the Cubs, you
should consider betting against Chicago with Clemens on the hill. It is also
very important that you pay attention to value. High profile, Cy Young
candidate pitchers will often times boost their team to heavy favorite
status in a game. If you can find successful spots to make plays on heavy
underdogs going against such teams, you can really rake it in. For example,
recently the Kansas City Royals have been heavy dogs a lot in the American
League. But you know that they aren’t going to lose every night. Over the
past few seasons we have been able to find great spots to take this Royals
team as a heavy dog on the money line at home making a nice payday for my
clients. But let me remind you, it all starts with understanding the
pitching matchup and all that entails.
