lot by people who either want to
make sure that we know what we are
doing or they want to learn a little
bit more about NBA betting.
This is why we put this page up to
explain what goes into our NBA picks and how much effort it takes to win

The first key to any game is
injuries. You have to know who
is hurt and just how bad they are
feeling. If the team is a deep
one then this might not factor as
much into the play, but if the team
is like the Phoenix Suns and only
use 6-7 guys, then injuries can play
a huge role. You don't want
someone who has hardly been getting
any time to be forced to step in and
perform. Public favorites are
another sort of team to watch out
for. The Lakers are far and
away the favorite of the betting
public, commanding more action in
their favor than any other NBA team.
You have to be careful when you want
to take the Lakers as we tend to
treat them as a good squad to fade.
You also have to be careful of teams
playing in big games on national
television as everyone likes to bet
on games they are going to watch.
We like to stay away from large
point spreads when making our NBA
picks, or at least laying a big
number. These guys are such
good shooters that even when a team
is up by 15 points in the 4th
quarter and they start playing lazy,
the other squad can hit a few
meaningless shots and get the game
back to single digits.
NBA basketball betting is very
