New York has looked good in their last three games with a 38-21 win over Buffalo, a 35-38 loss to the Pats, and a 24-14 playoff win Sunday against Tampa Bay.  Eli Manning seems to have turned the corner and has been playing smart and protecting the football, which he'll have to continue to do if the Giants are going to have a chance to knock off the Cowboys on Sunday.  However, it seems like this year the team has played better on the road than anyone else in the league, winning eight straight.  Their only loss outside of Giant Stadium came in week one in Dallas.  The difference last week against Tampa Bay was turnovers.  Manning and company protected the ball while Garcia and the Bucs turned it over three times.  The Giants made it tough for Garcia with their pass rush, and if they can do that against Tony Romo without letting him make big plays outside the pocket, this team can beat Dallas.

Dallas has other ideas however, and they took the bye week to rest up and get healthy.  Terrell Owens should play in this game, but how effective he will be with that high ankle sprain is a concern.  Romo will still have some other options with Jason Witten and Patrick Crayton, but Owens is still the big threat receiving wise.  The ground game has been dangerous all year for the Cowboys, who have two talented running backs in Marion Barber and Julius Jones.  Barber has done most of the heavy lifting with 204 carries for 975 yards and 10 touchdowns, but Jones is powerful between the tackles and can wear down the opposing defenders.  Defensively, Wade Phillips has done a good job in his first year as head coach.  He helped the Cowboys hold opponents to 20.3 ppg on 213.1 passing ypg and 94.6 rushing ypg.
