NFL Odds - Week 11
This week’s
NFL odds have been posted (on every game except for the Bears/Packers). We get started early again this week with a Thursday game and the
New England Patriots as 3.5 point favorites at home against the New York Jets. This is a very important game in the AFC East as the Pats and Jets are knotted up right now, though New England has the advantage, having beaten the Jets in Week 2.
As for the 1:00 PM EST games on Sunday, things get started with an interesting match up between the Broncos and Falcons. The Falcons are one of the best stories in the NFL this year and, at home this week, they are favored by 6 points over Denver.
The team with the worst record in the NFL last year was the Miami Dolphins, this year the Oakland Raiders try to avoid a similar fate. There’s not much confidence in the NFL betting community on the Raiders, however, who are 10.5 point underdogs at Miami.
Baltimore at New York is another early game on Sunday. We’ll find out a lot about this Ravens team based on how they perform on the road as 6.5 point dogs against the mighty Giants.
The Colts are starting to look like the Colts again and this week they host the Houston Texans. The Texans gave Indy just about all they could handle in week 5, but this week the game is in Indianapolis and Houston is a 9 point underdog.
The Titans try to maintain their undefeated status this week at Jacksonville. The Jags are off to a slow start, but this is a dangerous game for the Titans. Even so, Tennessee is favored by 3 points in Sunday’s game.
What a dismal year it’s been for the Bengals. You know things are bad when the 5-4 Eagles are 9.5 point favorites on your home turf.
New Orleans hasn’t won a game on the road yet this year. They get their best chance at one yet this week as 5 point favorites at Kansas City.
The second best team in the NFC playing the worst team in the NFL. It’s no wonder the Panthers are 14 points favorites in Carolina against the Lions.
Two great defenses collide as the Vikings visit Tampa Bay. On their home field, the Bucs are 3.5 point favorites.
The late games this Sunday get started with a pair of 2-7 teams when the Rams head to San Francisco. The 49ers played a respectable game on Monday night, which is probably why they are 6 point favorites over a struggling St. Louis team.
Seattle hosts Arizona in an interesting situation. If the Seahawks win, they’ll have the same divisional record as the Cardinals. Seattle is currently 2-7, Arizona is 6-3. Oddsmakers have made the Cardinals a 3 point favorite on the road.
It’s getting to be do-or-die time for the Chargers. Things won’t be easy this week, San Diego is traveling to Pittsburgh as 4.5 point dogs.
The Redskins could conceivably end the Cowboys’ chance at the post season this week. The good news for Dallas? Romo is back. Washington is a 1 point underdog at home this week.
Monday Night’s game features a pair of teams that both could use a win as the Buffalo Bills host the Cleveland Browns as 5 point favorites.
