NFL Playoff Betting

With the postseason approaching many of you will be doing some NFL playoff betting on the sides of the games, but there are plenty of other options out there for you to use your gambling knowledge to take advantage of.  The most popular form of betting on the NFL playoffs is to pick the winner against the spread.  Most people know how to do this and we have talked about it in previous articles on the NFL odds, as we have totals and money lines.  Of course you can also bet on who is going to win each conference and then who is going to win the Super Bowl, but these are futures wagers that have been available since the middle of the summer.  The most important thing about these options is to use multiple top sportsbooks to shop around for the best number, that way you are maximizing your earnings by getting the best value on each wager.

However, if you want to really hop on and make some extra money this year then you should look at the different forms of NFL playoff betting at BetUS.  Not only does this sportsbook have easy deposit methods and they offer up to 50% bonus money on all of your deposits there, they have some great bets for you to take a look at.  Let's go over some of the different options and give you some info on each wager.

Tom Brady Passing Yards in Playoffs:

874 and Under - +150
875-949 - +150
950 and OVER - +140

Brady threw for 4,806 yards this year which averages out to right at 300 per game.  If you don't think the Pats are going to the Super Bowl, the under seems like a no-brainer.  Even if they do can Brady surpass 300 in all three games?  We are leaning towards the under here.

Player to Gain Most Receiving Yards in Playoffs:

Randy Moss +200
Reggie Wayne +250
Terrell Owens +450
Greg Jennings +650
Wes Welker +750
Jason Witten +1000
Donald Driver +1200
Bobby Engram +1500
Plaxico Burress +2500
Santonio Holmes +2500

In the regular season Wayne led the league with 1510 yards, with Moss close behind at 1493.  Again, if you think the Pats are going to the Super Bowl then Moss is the better bet, but if you are thinking Indy then take Wayne.  Plus, Moss had a league leading nine 100-yard games which shows us he has the consistency, and with Marvin Harrison most likely back will Wayne get as many touches?  Owens had 1355 yards this year, so he wouldn't be a bad dark horse with the Cowboys thought to be the clear cut favorite in the NFC.  Bobby Engram had 1147 yards, but with Seattle a long shot to make the Super Bowl you have to consider he might not get as many games in.

Player to Rush for Most Yards in Playoffs:

Laurence Maroney +350
LaDanian Tomlinson +400
Joseph Addai +400
Ryan Grant +500
Marion Barber +500
Fred Taylor +550
Clinton Portis +1200
Earnest Graham +1800
Brandon Jacobs +1800
Najeh Davenport +2500

Tomlinson was the top rusher in the NFL with 1474 yards, but the pundits are thinking he'll get two games instead of the three some of these other guys are supposed to get.  Portis was the next leading gainer with 1262 yards, but he might have a tough time making it out of the first round.  Same with Taylor who ended up with 1202 yards.  Out of the top contenders there is Addai who posted 1072 yards and four 100-yard games and Ryan Grant who ended up with 956 yards and five 100-yard games.  We would stay away from the favorite Maroney, even with New England most likely relying on the run a little bit more than they did during the regular season.  Grant would be the best value out of the bunch.
