The Seattle Seahawks have dominated the
NFC West for the last couple of years, but
stumbled a little bit last year after making the Super Bowl a couple of years
ago. Will a year going under the radar be enough to put them back on top
or are one of the other teams going to catch up? It seems like the
St. Louis Rams
are going way under the radar this year since they don't have a lot of young
talent and the telecasters aren't jumping all over them. The
San Francisco 49ers seem to
be the hot pick this year with their excellent draft, the progress they made
from the previous year, and their free agent signings to bolster a weak defense.
The Arizona Cardinals were everyone's hot pick a year ago but they folded big time. Leinart now has a year under his belt, the time draft some line help, and they
have a new head coach. As the season progresses this is one of the
divisions that we are really going to want to keep an eye on. Each week
