This game will feature twin brother defensive coordinators Rex Ryan and Rob Ryan showcasing their aggressive schemes against two young QB’s. The Ravens rookie QB Joe Flacco is coming off the best game of his young career. Oakland QB JeMarcus Russell (60-MPH Pass-Speed = 100 MPH Fastball) has been off-target, but new head coach Tom Cable has opened up the offense and Russell could benifit. The Baltimore Ravens 5th ranked defense came up big last week in a 27-13 win over Miami as -3 chalk to get back to the .500 mark. Fargas and McFadden will need to get going early because Russell fumbles when he is hit often. The Raiders have a pair of solid cornerbacks in DeAngelo Hall (3 INT’s) and Nnamdi Asomugha that could play a large role in the outcome of this game.

This will be a smash-mouth affair that will be fun to watch. Oakland will need a big game from it’s vaunted running game to pull off the big upset, but they are capable with talent on both sides of the ball and a fresh start under Tom Cable.
