Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl OddsWhen it comes to the Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl odds, not many bettors are giving these numbers a second look. That's rare for a division winner who took basically the last month of the season off and still compiled a 10-6 record. As us gamblers know though, you can't over look any team with your NFL betting or you might miss an opportunity to expand your bankroll. Jimmy Boyd and his team works hard breaking down every single team in the league, and that is why his NFL picks hit at such a high rate. If you want to close the season out with some against the spread winners, then get signed up for his premium package today.
What a great first round game Seattle played against the Washington Redskins. Sure the final score makes it look like a blowout for anyone who didn't watch, but this was a hard fought game that swung both ways in the final quarter, before the air finally came out of Washington's sails. Matt Hasselbeck struggled early on when he threw two interceptions, but he picked up his play when the team needed him and led them on a great drive that put them up for good. He ended the game 20-for-32 for 229 yards and a score to go with his two picks. This guy is a Pro Bowler who you can trust to win games for your team when the pressure is on in the playoffs. The running game though seems like it has lost it's luster. Shaun Alexander only carried the ball 15 times for 46 yards, continuing what has been a disappointing season for him. DJ Hackett, Nate Burleson, and Bobby Engram all had decent games catching the ball. Hackett had six grabs for 101 yards and a score, while Burleson managed six receptions for 64 yards and Engram added 57 yards on four catches. Defensively Leroy Hill, Lofa Tatupu, and Julian Peterson combined for 35 tackles and two sacks helping lead the way. Two big interceptions for touchdowns by Marcus Trufant and Jordan Babineaux though broke the game open and sealed the Seahawk victory. Seattle now travels to Green Bay to take on the Packers in what should be a great game. Hasselbeck and head coach Mike Holmgren will be making their second playoff appearance in their former home stadium and everyone remembers the first one. Hasselbeck called out to everyone that they wanted the ball and they were going to score, only to see himself throw a pick six and the Packers come out on top. If you are betting Seattle, you'll hope for a different outcome this week. Seattle's playoff-related odds:
