Soccer Betting
Soccer betting is similar to baseball betting in that it is done on the money line, but there is one striking difference. When betting Soccer, not only can you wager on who you think is going to win, but you can also make a wager on if you think the game is going to be a draw. Soccer is a niche sports to wager on by U.S. betting standards, but making wagers on soccer is very popular throughout Europe. Much like baseball, soccer presents us with a great chance to make some money as we are just picking the winner and not how much we think they’ll win by.
Manchester United and Arsenal, for example, are perennial powers in the English premier league. These teams are almost always heavy favorites. If you can find a good spot to take the draw with these teams it shows great value. For example, recently Arsenal was playing Wigan Athletic. Arsenal was a heavy favorite with bettors having to risk $440 dollars to win $100. You could risk just $100 on Wigan Athletic with the chance to win $990. If you wanted to make your play on the draw, you would wager $100 to win $420. So now you know what I mean by the value in taking the underdogs and the draw against these teams. You will want to do your homework, however, to know which spots are solid betting opportunities to go against these teams or to make a draw play as these are 2 of the best teams in the world and these spots are few and far between. Although, I don’t currently offer Soccer Betting Picks, I would be more than happy to discuss any opinion you might have to further guide you in your soccer betting endeavors.
Bodog is a great book to bet soccer with. If you are an Soccer fan in the U.S., you will still have access to all of the Soccer Betting opportunities on your favorite teams over seas with this great sports book.
