Super Bowl Predictions for Running BacksOne of the things that we love about Super Bowl betting in the days of online sportsbooks is that you can now bet on almost anything and everything there is to do with the Super Bowl. It seems like this year there are even more things to wager on than ever before and we want to make sure that if any of these Super Bowl props interest you then you have the information you need in order to cash in on your wagers. With today's article we are going to give some Super Bowl predictions for the running backs in the big game between the New England Patriots and the New York football Giants. It was only a few years ago that for props you had very few choices, and most of the player options were lined for the quarterbacks, like who will throw for more yards, have more completions, or throw more interceptions. Now the running backs are included in more of the action, and if you want to get some action in on these props then we recommend heading over to BetUS, BodogLife, or Sportsbook.com to get in on the wide array of options from three of the top sportsbooks online. Brandon Jacobs: over/under 15.5 rushing attempts in the game The Giants running back has been fairly active in the offense all year long, averaging 17.8 carries per game. The number seems a little low for us, but that may be partially due to the fact that in the Week 17 matchup against the Patriots, Jacobs had only 15 attempts for 4.5 ypc. If New York could have controlled the clock a little more they could have kept the Patriots behind. It seems in the playoffs Ahmad Bradsaw has seen more action and done well when getting on the field, but we still like the over here since New York isn't going to go away from pounding the ball with Jacobs. Lawrence Maroney total carries: Over/Under 19.5 This prop seems interesting to us as well when you factor in how over the past five contests Maroney has only averaged 17 carries per game. Kevin Faulk seems to be seeing more action lately as the New England Patriots are striving to keep their opponents guessing with which skill set will be running out onto the field. I'm going to go with the under here as I think with the weather being nice the passing game will see more action, then Maroney will get his time to shine in the 4th quarter. It would take 20 carries for us to lose, and I just don't see him racking up that many.
