UFC 74 Odds

Bettors wanting to get in on the action need to keep a close eye on the latest UFC 74 odds so they can get the most up-to-date number before making their predictions.  There are several top sportsbooks that we use for UFC betting and the first is Bodog.  This is a book that normally pays out more for underdogs because most of their action is from igornant bettors who blindly take the favorites.  If you want to come out on top then make sure you have an account with Bodog in order to take advantage of line shopping, that is getting the best number possible for each of your bets.  Another great place is BetUS.  This book offers big bonuses so you can get all kinds of free money by making an initial deposit.  If you use these two books then you will have the best chance of beating the odds in MMA betting.

Sports Betting at the Sportsbook
Bet UFC 74 at Bodog, the most trusted name in sports betting!

The main draw is the heavyweight title fight between Randy Couture and Gabrial Gonzaga.  Even though Couture is the champion the odds makers have him listed as a slight underdog to the challenger Gonzaga.  Couture beat Tim "The Maine-iac" Silvia in his last fight to win the title even though he was a major underdog coming in.  Couture's age was thought to be a problem, as how he was basically moving up in weight and coming out of a short retirement period.  Gonzaga is coming off a big win over Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic at UFC 70 in which he also was a major underdog.  This will be an interesting fight even though once again Couture isn't getting much credit.  This guy seems to be a freak of nature who is defying his age due to the incredible shape he keeps in body in.

The other big draw on the card will be former welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre taking on the up and coming Josh Koscheck, who took down Diego Sanchez the last time out in an unspectacular fight, but it was a win nonetheless.  St. Pierre got knocked out against Matt Serra at UFC 69 as one of the biggest favorites we have seen go down in the octagon.  It will be interesting to see how he bounces back from that knockout.  Koscheck is a great wrestler who stood up and paced himself against Sanchez.  He's going to have to do so again against St. Pierre.  The winner of this fight stands a good chance at getting a title opportunity in the very near future, something Koscheck thinks he has earned.

There are some other great fights on the card including Joe Stevenson from the Ultimate Fighter 2 taking on Kurt Pellgrino in a lightweight bout, Patrick Cote facing off against the popular Kendal Grove and Roger Huerta going against Alberto Crane.  On the undercard is Travis Lutter and Ryan Jenson, Renato "Babalu" Sobral taking on David Heath and former heavyweight champ Frank Mir taking on a K-1 veteran in Antoni Hardonk.  If you like betting on the fights then this is going to be a great card, so we recommend heading over to one of the two sportsbooks in this article and placing a few bets.
