UFC 71 Betting Odds - Liddell Rampage

The UFC 71 betting odds focus on the main event between Chuck Liddell and Rampage Jackson.  These fighters will be going for the Light-Heavyweight championship that is currently held by champion Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell.  Quinton "Rampage" Jackson will be a tough test for the champ though as he already has a victory over him in Pride.  The event will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada at the MGM Grand's Garden Arena on May 26th at 10 PM EST.  Chuck Liddell hasn't fought since he beat up Tito Ortiz back on December 30th in UFC 66.  He is getting a little old now at age 37, weighing in at 204 lbs.  He has a record of 20-3, which is even better when you consider that he has fought the cream of the crop for nearly his entire career.  This guy is known for his knockout power and his ability to just throw one punch and end the fight.  Even as good as his striking ability is he was a great college wrestler who can hold more than his own on the ground as well.

Quinton Jackson won his last fight in UFC 67 by knocking out Marvin Eastman.  The match was a decent one with Eastman getting a few shots of his own in, shots that if Chuck lands will end the fight quickly.  He is a little young at 28 years old and weighs at 205 lbs.  His record is 26-6 in mixed martial arts competition, including that stoppage against Liddell.  He has only appeared once in the UFC after fighting most of his career in Pride.  His power bomb is the signature move.  This guy is strong enough to compete with Chuck and has shown that he has a great chin for taking punches.

Odds from Betus:
