There are plenty of big matchups in the college ranks this week and none is bigger than the Texas versus Oklahoma Red River Shootout. The No. 1 raked Oklahoma Sooners will take on the No. 5 ranked Texas Longhorns on a neutral field this Saturday and plenty is on the line. The winner of this game might just be in the driver’s seat to win the Big 12 South and to reserve itself a place in the Big 12 championship game. This game could also be one that Heisman voters look back to as QB’s Sam Bradford and Colt McCoy go head to head.

The Big 12 boasts the other highly anticipated matchup this week as undefeated Oklahoma State and its high powered offense tried to pull off the upset over undefeated Mizzou and its high powered attack. Odds makers are expecting a lot of points to be scored as they have set the total at 79. This was not one of the games that Mizzou had circled prior to the season as one that could derail its title hopes, but it is definitely circled now.

Prior to the season, most expected the Arizona State Sun Devils versus USC Trojans Pac-10 matchup to be one of the best in the conference this season, but odds makers have listed the Trojans as four-touchdown favorites for this game as the preseason ranked Sun Devils have now lost three straight games.
