October 7th
10:00 AM
Carolina Panthers 20
New Orleans Saints 23
The books like the Saints to finally pick up a win at home this week. They
figure the bye week was just enough to rejuvenate them.
10:00 AM
Jacksonville Jaguars 19
Kansas City Chiefs 17
Kansas City beats the Chargers, the best team in the regular season last year,
and gets no respect this week at home.
10:00 AM
Detroit Lions 21
Washington Redskins 25
The books also feel the bye week gives the Skins an advantage against a Lions
team which was slaughtered the last time it went on the road.
10:00 AM
Atlanta Falcons 16
Tennessee Titans 24
The Falcon’s time in the win column appears to be short lived as the books have
made them 8-point dogs this week at Tennessee.
10:00 AM
Miami Dolphins 19
Houston Texans 24
The oddsmakers feel that Miami will go another week without a win.
10:00 AM
Seattle Seahawks 17
Pittsburgh Steelers 23
They like the Steelers to bounce back at home after the Cards spoiled their
party.
10:00 AM
Cleveland Browns 16
New England Patriots 32
Another blowout for New England. Is it possible?
10:00 AM
Arizona Cardinals 22
St. Louis Rams 19
The books give is another tight line in the NFC West. They like Arizona to win
sending the Rams to 0-5.
10:00 AM
New York Jets 19
New York Giants 22
The oddsmakers are giving the Giants the edge in this Big Apple Battle, but not
by much. They have this rivalry chalked up to be a barn burner.
1:05 PM
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 18
Indianapolis Colts 27
Indy stays unbeaten as the Dome treats them well again.
1:15 PM
San Diego Chargers 20
Denver Broncos 21
The oddsmakers see this one to be the closest game of the week with Denver
getting the slight nod at home.
1:15 PM
Baltimore Ravens 19
San Francisco 49ers 16
The books like the Ravens in this interleague matchup. Expect a very boring
grind-it-out style of play.
5:15 PM
Chicago Bears 19
Green Bay Packers 22
The oddsmakers like the Pack to get to 5-0, but they don’t think it will be easy
against the 1-3 Bears on Sunday Night Football.
October 8th
5:30 PM
Dallas Cowboys 27
Buffalo Bills 17
The books like the Cowboys to keep their offense in high gear, rattling off a
double digit win on Monday Night Football.
